Longlisted Poem: “The boy Who Ate Light”
Igbinosa Nosa Delight is a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Lagos. He is a scholar of the MTN Foundation, NNPC/Agip, and NNPC/Seplat programs, a Millennium Fellowship awardee, and the 2026 champion of the WACEE Energy Efficiency Innovation Challenge, where his team developed EnergyLens, an AI-powered energy audit platform for West African manufacturers. He serves as Financial Secretary of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE) UNILAG student chapter and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) UNILAG student chapter, and holds executive responsibility in his campus Christian fellowship. He writes from the intersection of faith, ambition, and the particular texture of growing up Nigerian.
