Longlisted Poem: Untitled Entry
Aleshinloye Abdul-Afeez is a writer interested in the quiet spaces between moments—the pause between breaths where meaning begins to shift. His work explores identity, perception, and the tension between presence and absence through minimal, reflective imagery. He aims to capture what is often overlooked, allowing silence and ambiguity to carry as much weight as words. He studies engineering, which informs his curiosity about both structure and the unseen forces that shape experience.
